This is a brand new finger style guitar arrangement called I’ll Fly Away. This is a great camp meeting style song that is very fun to play and sing. Check it out:

I’ve watched a number of your videos now. I admire your skill. I’ve been learning finger styling for about half a year now. I like how you slipped freight train into it. I learned to play freight train with finger styling from Jim Deeming. Anyway, just wanted to say you’re an encouragement to me.

I do not have this in tab format sorry brad! I learned this song because I found a tutorial for freight train on youtube and decided that it sounded a lot like “I’ll fly away”. You can try that route if you’d like :). It’s basically a C chord and an F chord back in forth.

David – thanks for the kind words!

Anyone know how to fingerstyle this in a G chord instead of a C? I’ve been working on an arrangement for months, but I’m still having trouble.
